Trent Willmon was born in Amarillo, Texas. He grew up on a ranch near Afton, Texas without a television and only one radio station and thus learned to read at a young age. He spent his first years of high school studying agriculture and winning statewide awards in 4H and FFA. His focus started to change when his mother bought him his first guitar at age 16. He soaked up the West Texas music scene and began sitting in with local favorites like the Maines Brothers Band and Jody Nix, among others.  He attended South Plains College and studied agriculture and animal science. While there he quickly learned to play the upright bass and began touring the South with a bluegrass band, then moved to Nashville to pursue a songwriting career. Willmon was the first writer signed to the staff of Sea Gayle Music, an EMI co-publishing company started by Chris Dubois, Frank Rogers and Brad Paisley.  Willmon released the single "Beer Man" in early 2004 and later that summer Rogers produced his debut album. "A Little More Livin'" followed two year later.  On February 26, 2008, he released his newest album, "Broken In."

Anthony Henslee grew up on his family’s cattle ranch in Texas.  Although ranching was a way of life, there was nothing he enjoyed more than going to the movies and westerns, of course, were his favorite.  After moving to San Antonio in the mid 80’s, the family started a small production company, Henslee Productions, shooting TV commercials for local businesses.  During the 20-plus years the company has been in operation, Anthony has had the opportunity to hone his writing, directing and editing skills with the production of over 200 commercials that have been televised locally, regionally, and nationally.  Anthony has produced spots for Blue Bell Creameries, Sea World, Animal Planet and many more.  As the business grew, the aspirations for producing movies grew as well and in 2004 Anthony started writing the screenplay for his first movie and created Cottonwood Entertainment.  With the help of business associates, friends and family Anthony’s dream was realized with the production of PALO PINTO GOLD.
